Ever since the ending of the first installment of The Promised Neverland (Yakusoku no Neverland), fans were eagerly waiting for the release date of the second season to be announced. It was confirmed at the ending of the first season that a sequel is being made. Now, a release date is finally set by the Fuji TV Network (the original broadcasters) for the anime ending the long anticipation.
According to the official twitter account, the Anime will air starting from October 2020 in the Fuji TV – ‘Noitamina’ block. Though an exact date is not available it is finally confirmed that The Promised Neverland will return in the next fall season. The official announcement also packed with new artwork from the ending of the first season.
The dark fantasy shonen anime, adapted from the manga by Kaiu Shirai and Posuka Demizu had its first season back in January 2019. It ran for 12 episodes, ending in March 2019. The Manga started back in 2016 is currently ongoing in Shueisha’s shōnen manga magazine – Weekly Shōnen Jump.
